Meet Dr. Cook
Throughout my years of clinical training, I have gained experience in the mental health field by providing a variety of mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults within multiculturally-diverse communities in Southern California. These mental health services have included psychological and psychoeducational testing, 0-5 assessments, teen and parent groups, and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. I continue to address a variety of mental health issues in my current work with adult clients, while integrating Biblical principles into the treatment plan for Christian clients who are seeking to understand God's direction in their lives. I welcome all levels of Christianity and enjoy witnessing the spiritual growth that clients experience during the course of therapy.
I have a certificate in perinatal issues and have completed post-doctoral coursework and training in pregnancy and postpartum mental health issues. My additional areas of interest include: mental health issues among women, grief and loss issues, and college student mental health.
Hello. I'm Dr. Chyneitha Cook and I welcome you to my therapy site. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Riverside and Orange counties. I received my doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of La Verne in La Verne California. I also received my master's in Psychology from the University of La Verne and my bachelor's in Psychology from Cal
State University, Fullerton.
Dr. Cook offers individual teletherapy services for adult residents of Orange County (Anaheim, Fullerton, Brea, Yorba Linda, La Habra); Riverside County (Riverside, Corona, Moreno Valley, Murietta, Perris, Temecula); and San Bernardino County (Upland, Montclair, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Chino Hills, Loma Linda). Psychoeducation and other mental health information is provided at appointments to assist clients as they progress through the stages of their therapy.
